Standing 1.91v meters (6'3") tall, battle droids serve as security, ground troops, and pilots of Trade Federation battleships. Receiving their instructions from a central source aboard the Federation Droid Control Ship, battle droids are incapable of independent thinking. Armed with blaster rifles and attacking in massive waves, they are lethal opponents in combat.
The number of battle droids remains difficult to verify, but there are more active battle droids than galactic leaders prefer to admit. Utterly heartless in the performance of there duties and obeying their orders with the steel-cold loyalty of machines, battle droids are instruments of destruction, feared by the more civilized peoples of the galaxy. |
